Match Report
Having been put into bat, the seonds went off at speed, with Phil
Boore (19) and Tim Knight (39) scoring freely. However when Phil and the Graham Horn went
in scuccessive balls, the middle order struggles and wickets fell at regular intervals.
Only Jamie Penton made double figures with 10 and he was last man out with the score on
98.
However Wootton Bassett found the going equally tough
on a slow wicket. Josh Boulton took some key early wickets and was well supported by
Gareth Unwin who beat the bat repeatedly.
In the end ot was Josh Boulton's day as he mopped up
the top order and then the tail to finish with career-best figures of 6 for 19 from 9
overs. Bassett finished angonisingly short as they were all out for 91 to lose by just 7
runs.
