Fourth team news
Match Report
Biddestone posted a good opening match score reaching 183 for 4 thanks
to Rhys Merriman who made 44 and ben Copeland who made 62 not out. Kevin Hayes chipped in
with 42 towards the end.
Calne were never up with the required rate which gave
skipper Paul Taylor the opportunity to use 7 bowlers and they shared the wickets between
them. Ben Copeland took 2 for 20 and despite some lusty late hitting, the result was never
really as close as the final margin of 15 runs suggests.
