Biddestone - Facilities

Biddestone Cricket Club shares its Cuttle Lane ground with the Biddestone Village Hall and Recreational Trust and tennis and football are also played at the ground. The cricket club is a one-third member of the Biddestone Sports Club who are trustees of the ground and, through this, is affiliated to the Biddestone Village Hall and Recreational Trust which is a registered charity.

Clubhouse & External Facilities

The Club has a clubhouse that was built in 2003. The facility doubles as a Village Hall and is shared with the other village sports clubs.

The clubhouse comprises a kitchen and serving area for teas, one ladies toilet, a main hall area incorporating a skittle alley and a bar where cricket teas are served, a bar cold cellar, a gents toilet, a disabled toilet and a bar/lounge area. There are two changing rooms each having a toilet, washbasin and shower area with three shower heads. Lastly there is another small changing room with shower for use by umpires / football referees.

In the autumn of 2006 the club obtained a secure equipment storage facility for storage of ground maintenance equipment. The club still uses the 'old clubhouse' as a storage area and to provide changing facilities for those playing for the 3rd team and 4th team on the Zipfeld ground.
