Directions to grounds

Fourth team

All Cannings C.C.
Take A4 (Chippenham to Devizes). At bottom of Derry Hill bear right on A342. Continue through Rowde and drive up Dunkirk Hill and over mini roundabout. At next roundabout turn left on New Park Street. Left at the first roundabout and straight over the second roundabout, through the traffic lights and over onto the Upavon Road (A342). Over two roundabouts and up Monument Hill. Take a left to Etchilhampton and second left to All Cannings. Pass the first turning into the village on the left and the ground is on the right, opposite the long brick wall.

Bathford 2nds
Take the A4 (Chippenham to Bath). Drive through Box and at the Batheaston bypass roundabout turn left on A363 (Bradford Road). Turn left up Bathford Hill and look for the entrance on the left to The Wynne Wilson Memorial Ground.

Beanacre 2nds
Take A350 (Chippenham to Melksham Road). Drive through the Town, follow signs to Calne and at main town roundabout left on Lowbourne and look for the King George V Playing Field on the left. At the next bend, sharp left and cricket ground and car park is in front of you.

Calne 2nds.
Recreation ground, Anchor Road. Take A4 (Chippenham to Calne Road). Over two roundabouts and at the main traffic lights in the centre of Calne,opposite Lansdown Arms, turn left off main road. Take first left and bear left at Gateway Supermarket. Follow road up the hill and the ground is on the left. The car park is the next entrance past the recreation ground.

Highworth 2nds
Join M4 at J17 and leave at J15 (North) onto A419. At third exit take a right on A361 signposted to Highworth. Drive through the Town and take sharp left at roundabout off A361. The cricket ground is behind the community Centre.

Spye Park 2nds
Take A4 (Chippenham to Devizes). At the bottom of Derry Hill bear right on A342. Continue through Sandy Lane and take the first right signposted to Chittoe/Spye Park. Follow narrow lane to the top, and the cricket ground is on the right, located in the Spye Park Estate. Take care when driving down narrow lane through the village.

Swindon United Churches 2nds
Join M4 at J17 and leave at J15 (North) onto A419. At third exit take a right on A361 signposted to Highworth. At Supermarine roundabout take the 2nd exit signposted to Sevenhampton. Follow signs at `T` junction and on entering village turn left in front of first house. This lane runs into the ground within 150 yards.

Trowbridge B
Take the Chippenham to Trowbridge road via Melksham. At the Semington roundabout turn right to Trowbridge. Bypass Hilperton, and turn left back on the A361. Look for the Fire station (on the left) and at the bottom of the hill turn right down The Halve. At the first roundabout turn left on Union Street and sharp right on Timbrell Street. At sharp right, turn into Islington. Look out for the narrow entrance adjacent to Palmer Gardens.
From the town centre take Union Street via Church Street, bear left into Timbrell Street. At sharp right, turn into Islington.

Warminster 3rds.
The Army facility at The Land Warfare Centre, Warminster.
Take the Chippenham to Melksham road (A350). At the Semington roundabout go straight over to Westbury, stay on the A350. Two miles outside Westbury, at traffic lights turn left on the minor Westbury Road. Left up Elm Hill, following the signs for West Wilts Golf Club). Continue up the hill, ignoring entrance to the golf club. Continue for a further 300yds and take first right - initially downhill - when the road flattens out, the cricket ground will be visible (in the distance) on the left-hand side. Turn into the ground entrance about 100yds before the road junction. Follow single-track road to car park by the all-weather sports pitch. You will need to walk from the car park across the cricket field to the pavilion on far side of the ground.
(Please note there is an artificial wicket as an alternative - NO SPIKES).
