Under 11 team news in 2005

The Under 11's faired well in the 8-a-side format of youth cricket finishing mid table with four wins and four losses. However they found the 11-a-side game more challenging and had to wait until the final game of the season for a win; away at Malmesbury.

Stephen Hayes and Henry Entwhistle were the top performers for the Under 11's

Sunday 5th June Purton The Under 11's were on the wrong end with a loss at home to Purton. Stephen Hayes took 3 for 15 as the visitors were kept to 74 for 5. However only Henry Entwhistle (10 not out) was able to reach double figures as the reply closed on 43 for 8..
Monday 13th June Bath 1 The Under 11's had a very good victory against Bath Daggers...particularly pleasing as they batted theie whole innings without losing a wicket. Batting first they reached 254 without loss. Although they scored more runs with the bat, Bath lost 7 wickets and therefore only reached 220.

Sunday 3rd July Shrivenham The Under 11's were well beated by Shrivenham in a Sunday morning league fixture.
Monday 4th July Shoscombe Another cup run has begun! Biddestone batted first and reached 249 for the loss of only 2 wickets. In reply Shoscombe reached 232 and lost 4 wickets.
